YOUR FREERIDE PICTURES
Shoot your best Freeride Pictures during your Powder Days in the mountains surrounding Moena, starting from 1 January until 9 February 2018. There’s no need to subscribe as a Team, just submit the pictures you shot with your buddies and simply report their names.
Find out the Boundaries of the Shooting Area around Moena, Alpe Lusia and Passo San Pellegrino, in the heart of the Dolomites.

The King of Moena is a title that rewards the Qualifying Online Series participants who shot and posted pictures taken in the surroundings of Moena using the hashtag #KOD2018 and #KOD2018QS as well as the tag #KODMOENA. It is possible to use the hashtag until 9 February 2018.
The Qualifying Series will however end on 24 February. Also pictures posted with the hashtag #KODMOENA will be evaluated and compete for the award of a Pass for the Pro category during the Grand Final in San Martino. Please note that those who compete for the King of Moena will automatically take part to the Qualifying Series as well, and not the reverse.
During the winter season, publish your pictures using the hashtags: #KOD2018 #KOD2018QS #KODMOENA.
Only the pictures regularly posted on Instagram will be considered by the Jury.
Choose up to 3 pictures within the ones you’ve published on Instagram and send them in a high-resolution version in a ZIP Archive together with a text file containing the following informations: Photographer’s name, Rider’s name and the location of the Shot.

10:00 – 17:00 KOD PHOTO EXPO by Elle-Erre @ Piaz de Sotegrava, Moena
From the early morning, the photographic exhibit about King of Dolomites will take place in Moena, 10 high-quality photographic canvas selected from the shots of the last editions of the contest, printed and produced by our partner Elle-Erre. Visit the exhibit, vote your favourite canvas and join the lottery, to win the canvas you chose!
14:30 – 16:30 JUNIOR SAFETY CAMP @ Alpe Lusia
Let’s meet at Chalet Valbona at 14.30! The Alpine Guides of the Moena Ski School organise a Safety Camp open to the children from 8 to 14 years old. At the end of the camp, there will be an ARTVA Challenge, with prizes offers by the sponsors! Free subscriptions at the Moena Alpine Pearl office in center town!
17:30 KING OF MOENA PRIZE CEREMONY @ Piazza Sotegrava, Moena
In the square will be held at 17.30 the awards ceremony of the winning children of the Junior Safety Camp. Furthermore will also be drawn the winner who will take home the canvas voted at the King of Dolomites exhibition. And finally, we will declare King of Moena that this year will win a Nitrotech N8 Kit and a Pro Light 3N1-36 Backpack offered by our sponsor Manfrotto.
18:30 – 23:00 KOD PARTY @ Bar Mancin, Moena
A few steps far from the square of Piazza Centrale, the event will move to Bar Mancin where there will be a DJ set by Everest Parisi.
