The Austrian photographer Christian Riefenberg is the Winner of the KOD 2018 Qualifying Stage, with his picture of the Rider Mattia Vicentini while shreds the powder of Misurina, in the Cortina d’Ampezzo surroundings. More than 40 pictures were submitted during the past two months for the KOD 2018 QS participants, and more than 200 were posted n Instagram using the official Hashtag #KOD2018QS. Quite a hard job for the Jury, that have evaluated all the pictures and have chosen the winning one because of the great ability of the Photographer in capturing the Dolomitic Landscape, the photo – composition and the Rider’s action.

Now Christian and his team will compete in the Pro Category in the Arc’teryx King of Dolomites 2018 in San Martino di Castrozza, from Thursday March 1st to Sunday March 4th. In San Martino everything’s ready for this great 6th editions of the contest: snow conditions are this year pretty good and more than 30 Pro Photographer and Riders and 50 people in the Open category are going to attend the competition with the only focus of capturing the best Freeride pictures of the Dolomites. The King of Dolomites 2018 will be crowned on Sunday – March 4th at 4.30 pm in the San Martino di Castrozza city centre.
